What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can lead guidance and counseling, deliver psychological support, and design counseling programs and behavioral interventions. I want to collaborate with teachers and families, and strengthen student academic and emotional outcomes through training and crisis-ready systems.

I’m an experienced educator and counseling psychologist with 20+ years supporting student academic, social, and emotional development. I bring a steady, student-centered approach to assessment, guidance, and psychological support that helps learners thrive.

As a Guidance & Counseling Coordinator/Psychologist, I managed the guidance and counseling department and provided psychological support to students. I designed and implemented counseling programs to assist students in their academic and personal growth, while coordinating behavioral interventions and crisis response to protect student wellbeing.

I’m skilled in student assessment, program development, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement. I work closely with teachers and parents to address student issues and create a supportive learning environment, using clear communication to align teams around better outcomes.

Before coordination, I built strong classroom foundations as a class/subject teacher and classroom teacher, tailoring lesson planning and teaching methods to meet individual needs. I hold an MEd in Counselling Psychology and a BEd in Guidance and Counselling, and I continue to mentor and coach staff and students with purpose and accountability.
