Supported neurosurgery clinical research evaluating the carbon footprint of telephone consultations, managing study data and assessing sustainability in clinical practice while shadowing consultants in cranioplasty and decompressive craniectomy patient care.

Managed over 600 inpatients across obstetric, surgical, pediatric, and medical wards and perioperatively assisted in ~20 operations including cesarean sections and mastectomies while leading patient education initiatives.

Led literature review discussions and directed data analysis, management, and manuscript writing for a pharmacogenomics study on chemotherapeutic agents, coordinating multidisciplinary contributors and mentoring junior researchers.

Completed elective in neurosurgery participating in emergency and ward patient management, assisting in theatre sessions, and contributing to student teaching activities.

Conducted research into genomic, biological, cultural, and environmental determinants of ageing and neurodegenerative disease in African ancestry cohorts and performed molecular biology techniques including DNA extraction, PCR, and electrophoresis.

Activities and societies: Recipient of Federal Government of Nigeria Scholarship, Total Award Scholarship, Chevron Award Scholarship, and Amboss scholar; involved in neurology/neurosurgery research, journal clubs, student government leadership, and clinical electives.

Completed MB; BS in Medicine and Surgery with scholarship support and clinical/research training over a six-year program.
