As a library director and former educator, I bring a diverse set of transferable skills developed through years of working with people, managing programs, leading teams, and building strong community relationships. My experience in education and libraries has strengthened my ability to communicate effectively, adapt to changing needs, solve problems creatively, manage competing priorities, and make complex information accessible to a wide range of audiences.
I’m passionate about lifelong learning and creating meaningful connections between people, information, and resources. I approach challenges with curiosity and a willingness to learn, and I enjoy finding practical, innovative ways to use technology and new ideas to improve the organizations and communities I serve. My background has taught me that many of the most valuable professional skills—leadership, collaboration, organization, critical thinking, communication, and relationship-building—are transferable across industries and roles.
