At Inverclyde Council, I developed and managed a £12m programme budget across 44 organisations, and revised project activity to create 500 additional jobs. I also developed a monitoring programme and prepared forecasts, reconciliations and reports.
At Scottish Enterprise, I led a team of three delivering a financial compliance programme and prepared budgets for an £8m export assistance programme that supported 5,000 organisations. I investigated variances and worked with colleagues and management to resolve compliance issues.
At Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, I led a team of five across finance and administration, developed annual budgets of around £3m, and helped reduce processing times by 15% and aged debtor value by 20%. Across my work, I’ve prepared management accounts, annual accounts and risk reports for public, private and third-sector organisations.
