What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a lab-focused role where I can run experiments end to end, analyze data with Python and statistical methods, and help build practical models—especially in cell biology or aquaculture research environments.

I’m a research assistant at Zhejiang Institute of Freshwater Fisheries Research, helping with M. rosenbergii disease-resistance breeding through literature review, gene screening, drug evaluation, and phenotype tagging. I’ve also optimized cell culture conditions to support a preliminary in vitro model.

Before this, I led a project on endothelial OX40 in tumor angiogenesis at Sun Yat-sen University, handling the full workflow from design and data collection to manuscript drafting. I also contributed core experimental data acquisition and statistical analysis for liver cancer angiogenesis studies.

My earlier work in aquaculture at Ocean University of China included co-conducting a project on substrate optimization for industrialized M. japonicus aquaculture, where I owned experimental data collection and statistical analysis. I use Python, GraphPad Prism, ImageJ, and MS Office Suite to keep my work organized and analyzable.
