At Daxing Hospital (Shidemeng. engineering. Ltd.), I’m contributing to a clinical project on sleep-related thermoregulation and early Alzheimer’s disease risk. The work uses actigraphy, temperature monitoring, pTau217 biomarkers, memory tests, and EEG–MRI/MRS brain temperature measures.
At Walker’s lab, University College London, I worked with Dr Laurent Sheybani on a follow-up study of wake slow waves in people with epilepsy. Work from this project was published as “Brain-wide properties of slow waves across vigilance states” in SLEEP Advances.
At the Surrey Sleep Research Center, I learned sleep-study procedures, questionnaire scoring, PSG setup, and scoring of EMG, EEG, EOG, and respiratory readings.
At Rihel’s Lab, University College London, I investigated mRNA scattering patterns during circadian rhythms using imaging microscopy and HCR. At Daxing Hospital, I also investigated sleep disruption and thermoregulation in an Alzheimer’s disease mouse model, assisting with calcium imaging, optogenetics, and in vivo electrophysiology.
