What I'm looking for

I'm looking to architect and deliver large-scale cloud and storage infrastructure, including secure migrations, automation, and resilient backup/DR solutions.

I'm currently architecting global NetApp and Huawei file storage environments for Porsche AG and Deutsche Telekom IT. I designed an Amazon FSx for ONTAP backup-network proof of concept and led migrations from on-premise NetApp filers to FSx for ONTAP.

At Bigstep and Metalsoft, I built in-house storage and backup solutions, operated Ceph environments, and delivered S3 object storage, CephFS, and RBD persistent volumes for Kubernetes. I automated deployments and troubleshooting with Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, and Kubernetes tooling.

My work spans infrastructure from hardware to software-defined storage, including NetApp, Huawei OceanStor, StorageGRID, ZFS, NexentaStor, FreeNAS, and Dell UnityVSA. I also implemented monitoring and logging with Nagios, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, and Check_MK.

I started in telecom support at Ericsson, expanded enterprise storage support at Huawei, and managed Solaris environments at S&T. I bring hands-on experience with security controls including ransomware protection, encryption, multi-admin verification, and multi-factor authentication.
