Casey Belland
@caseybelland
Creative sound designer and engineer with a passion for theatre.
What I'm looking for
I am a dedicated sound engineer and designer with extensive experience in theatrical productions. My journey began at Birdville High School, where I developed a strong foundation in technical direction and stage management. I have since honed my skills at Thaumatrope Theatre and the University of Toronto Campus Theatre, where I operated sound and lighting equipment in union venues.
Currently, I serve as a Sound Engineer and Mixer, where I oversee equipment rentals and manage the operation of up to 20 wireless vocal microphones. My expertise in QLab allows me to create original scores and seamlessly integrate sound, lights, and projections into productions. My commitment to excellence is reflected in my awards, including the Iggy Award for Best Sound Design.
