What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that challenges me and allows for continuous learning, where I can lead teams and advocate for effective GIS solutions.

With over 18 years of experience in the GIS field, I have successfully navigated both public and private sectors, combining my strong technical skills with leadership to deliver geospatial solutions that create meaningful impact. My educational background includes an MSc in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Edinburgh and a BSc in Geography with Computing from the University of Ulster.

In my recent role as GIS Director at Tilson Technology Management, I led a cross-functional GIS and BI team, overseeing hiring, onboarding, and professional development. I directed the transition from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro, integrated GIS with ERP systems, and spearheaded the development of web applications and dashboards for various teams. My commitment to promoting GIS adoption within organizations has been demonstrated through stakeholder demos and the creation of engaging StoryMaps.

Throughout my career, I have embraced new challenges and continuous learning, implementing Agile practices and DevOps tools to streamline workflows.
