Carlos Martín Proaño García

I am an Economics major at New York University with hands-on experience in financial analysis, startup finance, and agricultural economic planning. I co-founded and serve as CFO of a Manhattan-based technology startup developing AI solutions for financial risk analysis while competing in the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute's Startup Challenge.

My work includes cash-flow and investment projections that supported operational growth—helping a partner company double milk production to 3,000 liters per day—and leading economic planning for land-use conversion that blends ancestral and scientific knowledge to regenerate soil and ecosystems. I have performed bookkeeping, invoice and bank reconciliation, import certification verification, and prepared cash-flow statements for commercial operations.

I bring practical skills in R (R-Studio), Python, MS Office and LaTeX, bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, and a track record of founding and scaling initiatives including a Stock Market Club and a tech startup.
