Carlos A Betancur Peláez

I'm a systems engineer finishing my degree (expected June 2025) with strong experience in backend development, QA, and technical support. I combine hands-on backend work with low-code platforms and traditional Java/Spring development to deliver reliable APIs and integrations.

In recent roles I provided T2/T3 support for NICE Actimize, performing RCA and troubleshooting platform issues while communicating with customers to resolve incidents. Previously I developed APIs with Xano, Budibase and FastAPI, created PostgreSQL queries and implemented unit tests to ensure production quality.

I have designed and executed test plans, built unit and integration tests with JUnit, SpringBoot Test and Rest Assured, and automated web tests with Selenium and Python. I also implemented backend MVPs in Java with Spring Boot and JPA and have experience with load testing using SoapUI and JMeter.

Curious and fast to learn, I focus on understanding systems end-to-end and improving reliability through testing, automation and clear customer-facing support. I hold coursework certificates in Python, Java, Spring, and AWS Cloud Foundations and continuously expand my stack with AI tools and low-code platforms.
