Callum Hayes
@callumhayes
Aspiring aerospace engineer skilled in aerodynamics, propulsion, and flight mechanics.
What I'm looking for
I am an aspiring aerospace engineer with a strong academic foundation from the University of Liverpool and practical experience across aerodynamics, propulsion systems, and flight mechanics.
I have designed, tested and built an RC aircraft for a BMFA payload challenge and used ANSYS, ABAQUS, CREO and MATLAB to model fluids, perform finite element analysis and produce technical CAD drawings.
Alongside my studies I have led small teams in fast-paced environments as a Junior Manager and coordinated healthcare operations as an Operations Coordinator, developing leadership, scheduling and stakeholder-collaboration skills.
I mentor MSc students informally, organise meetups to build community, and seek a graduate role where I can apply design, analysis and problem-solving to contribute to innovative aerospace projects.
