Aerospace engineering graduate building Python tools for satellite orbit propagation and station-keeping.
United KingdomWhat I'm looking for
At Taylor Airey Limited, I analysed maintenance records for the Class 700 fleet and recommended a revised maintenance schedule to Siemens. I also prepared a risk register for Translink’s Rail Validation System transition, supporting its CSM-RA safety approval gateway.
For my AquaEye-Sentient project, I designed and built a solar-powered acoustic monitoring buoy, then ran three open-water field trials. Testing exposed a power-model error that reduced battery-only deployment endurance from 3.6 to 1.2 days, and I specified a relay-based true-off architecture as the fix.
I developed a Python tool that propagates live satellite TLEs using SGP4 and a custom RK45 model, and deployed it as a public Streamlit app. My aerospace work also includes transient CFD, structural FEA, and analysis of instrumented RC aircraft flight-test data.
