Research & Development Scientist II at Lonza Biologics, evaluating downstream processes and improving laboratory workflows.

Message

At Lonza Biologics – Process Innovation Center, I execute technical evaluations for downstream process development, process optimization, and emerging technologies. I take projects from planning and experimental workflows through data analysis and final reporting.

I developed Excel-based tracking and analysis tools that improved workflow efficiency and streamlined analytical submissions. I also supported a facility expansion by coordinating laboratory relocation and operational readiness for critical equipment and resources.

I authored three technical posters presented at Bioprocess International conferences and contributed as a co-author on published scientific manuscripts. I’ve also onboarded and trained four Research & Development scientists on laboratory operations, equipment, and documentation practices.

Earlier, at Massachusetts General Hospital – Center for Comparative Medicine, I supported regulated biomedical research operations, revised SOPs, and helped improve workflows. At New England Ovis, I supported animal health, diagnostic sampling, and biosecurity in a livestock production and research environment.
