What I'm looking for

I seek laboratory roles where I can apply precision testing, lead quality improvement, leverage data skills, and support public-health fieldwork, while contributing to compliance and process optimization.

I am a biochemist with hands-on experience across clinical and industrial laboratories, delivering precise analytical results under pressure. I specialize in elemental and clinical testing and in maintaining rigorous quality systems.

At Dallaglio:Pickstone Peerless Mine (Apr 2024 - Jun 2025) I prepared and processed samples, executed fluxing and fire assay procedures, and ran carbon analysis and Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) to quantify metal content while ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Previously, as a Laboratory Scientist at the Centre for Immunology and Infection (Feb 2023 - Mar 2024) I managed internal quality control, supervised regular external quality, coordinated field work and health-promotion activities related to bilharzia, and performed data capturing and reporting to principal investigators.

My early laboratory experience (Gopath Clinical Laboratories, May 2021 - Dec 2022) included specimen reception and routine testing, HIV EID and viral load testing (GeneXpert & Hologic Panther), PCR and serology validation, and implementation of ISO 15189:2012 practices. I combine technical proficiency with data skills and a commitment to process improvement and compliance.
