Brandon Williams
@bwilliams
Lead data scientist and ML expert building data products for the energy transition.
What I'm looking for
I am a lead data scientist and machine learning expert with 10+ years building data products that solve impactful problems, particularly in energy forecasting and optimization. I focus on developing production-ready models and scalable data pipelines to deliver measurable business outcomes.
My work spans end-to-end design, implementation, and deployment of hybrid ML systems for wind and solar forecasting, energy price prediction, storage optimization, and other data products. I routinely drive cross-functional collaboration, apply research rigor, and use tools like Python, TensorFlow, Xarray, Dask, Databricks, MLflow, and cloud services to move models into production.
I bring proven technical leadership of multidisciplinary teams, strong software-engineering practices for analytical workflows, and a commitment to probabilistic ML, reproducible science, and mitigating the effects of climate change.
