At Intuit, I co-led Python automation for SOX audits and control testing, reducing the work from approximately 10 people over four weeks to two people over four days. The work supported 12+ consecutive months with no SOX findings.
I built negative-testing pipelines to detect unreviewed commits, administrator bypasses, self-approved pull requests, and GitHub branch-protection circumventions. I also automated stakeholder follow-up and repeatable audit reports, and improved inherited automation with structured logging, exception handling, pre-flight validation, and idempotent reruns.
At Mailchimp / Intuit, I supported SOC 2 audits by evaluating technical evidence before external review and explaining it to internal auditors. I also configured Tenable.sc vulnerability scans, managed firewall rule lifecycles and infrastructure upgrades, and automated repeatable tasks with AWX and Ansible.
