Brook Gebretsadik

I’m a physician and public health professional with 11 years of experience across medical entrepreneurship, clinical practice, and public health. My focus is general public health and preventive medicine, grounded in practical program work and patient-centered care.

As a Lecturer at Yekatit 12 Hospital Medical College, I diagnose and treat patients, deliver public health lectures to undergraduate medical students, and plan and coordinate human resource support for national and pandemic emergencies. I also publish peer-reviewed research—most notably studying how the COVID-19 pandemic affected acute diarrheal disease and pneumonia incidence among under 5 children in Ethiopia.

I bring leadership and execution to health initiatives, including serving as co-founder and Program Manager for TM Square Medical Wholesale (2022–2024), where I coordinated medical sales and led device standard inspection efforts. I’ve also supported communities through free medical consultation for refugees and by founding Ethiohakim, a free health education website and social media platform (2013–2016).
