I’ve always had a passion for the medical field, and I’ve been an aide for over ten years. Working in critical care has taught me a lot and made me want to further my knowledge, and I found that phlebotomy is the perfect fit for me—I genuinely love being a phlebotomist.

As a Nursing Assistant at Select Specialty Hospital Cincinnati, I take care of patients in critical care and support their activities of daily living, including eating, grooming, toileting, ambulation, and hygiene. I also collect specimens for laboratory testing (urine samples and blood draws), monitor vital signs and glucose checks, assist with dialysis-related weights using a Hoyer, and help deliver wound care while focusing on infection control, patient safety, and bedsores prevention.
