What I'm looking for

I am looking for a collaborative, growth-oriented role where I can contribute to full‑stack projects, work in Agile teams, learn cloud and ML integrations, and advance my software engineering skills.

I am a results-driven junior software developer with hands-on experience building scalable applications, RESTful APIs and front-end interfaces using Java (Spring Boot), React and TypeScript. I thrive in Agile teams and contribute to all stages of the development lifecycle.

At Van Zyl and Pritchard I developed and maintained RESTful APIs, optimized MySQL database operations for reporting modules, and improved user experience with React-driven dashboards. I used Git and CI/CD pipelines to support smooth deployments.

In my front-end role supporting AI training at Braintrust, I developed UI components, structured UI/UX patterns for model training datasets and integrated front-end data with AI systems while working remotely. I have exposure to machine learning frameworks and cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.

I hold a BEngTech in Chemical Engineering and have built full-stack projects including an HRMS using Java, MySQL and JDBC. I am committed to continuous learning, delivering quality code, and creating data-driven solutions that improve efficiency.
