Brianne Metts

I am a registered nurse with hands-on experience across hospice, ICU, and acute care settings, focused on delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. I currently manage caseloads, supervise staff, and develop individualized care plans to meet complex patient needs.

In hospice, I triage urgent needs, coordinate care for more than 25 patients concurrently, manage medications and supplies, and communicate with physicians to align goals of care. In critical care, I have supported intubations, invasive line insertions, and cared for multiple COVID-19 patients.

I began my clinical journey as a student nurse intern and STNA, participating in code teams, stroke team documentation, bedside ICU procedures, and one-to-one patient observation. I hold an Associate's Degree in Nursing and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke.

I bring strong clinical skills, homecare and electronic documentation experience (Vast/Homecare/Homebase), and a collaborative approach to patient and family education that improves symptom management and care transitions.
