Backend and distributed systems engineer building Rust services for blockchain infrastructure and developer tooling.
What I'm looking for
I’m a backend and distributed systems engineer focused on Rust-based services, blockchain infrastructure, APIs, observability, and developer tooling. I’ve built stateless, event-driven systems and production-grade infrastructure where reliability, performance, and visibility matter.
At Spire Labs, I delivered a “Stateless transaction routing service” using Redis queues and background workers, plus an event-driven transaction batching service integrating block builders (EIP-7702). I also owned cross-service observability to support monitoring, debugging, product insights, and alerting.
My work spans smart contracts and developer experience: I’ve shipped oracle and on-chain order-book tooling (including an SDK and CLI), led development of Fuel’s application repository for its Sway DSL, and built cross-team integrations across bridge, compiler, libraries/standards, wallet, and SDK. Earlier, I built Python-based smart home automation software for lighting, heating, and ventilation.
