With over 15 years of experience in information security, I have dedicated my career to enhancing security postures across diverse industries through strategic business continuity, disaster recovery (BC/DR), and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) leadership. My journey began with HIPAA compliance in 1996, and since then, I have honed my skills in directing cross-functional teams, translating cybersecurity risks into actionable business outcomes, and providing clear intelligence to executives.

Currently, I serve as a Disaster Recovery Coordinator III at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, where I lead enterprise-wide BC/DR planning and resilience testing. My previous roles have included consulting on vulnerability management and phishing awareness for telecom clients, building comprehensive BC/DR programs, and driving compliance initiatives. I am passionate about fostering a culture of security awareness and preparedness, which I believe is crucial for any organization.
