Over the course of my career, I've founded three inaugural security functions from zero maturity: a legal services firm, a multi-million-dollar franchisor, and a major public transit system spanning both enterprise IT and safety-critical Operational Technology (OT). I've been accountable for protecting organizations approaching and exceeding $1B in revenue, building programs aligned to NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, and HIPAA and translating technical risk into board-level strategy that informs real investment and governance decisions.

I've led incident response through sustained, high-stakes attacks, including defeating an attempted ransomware deployment during a two-month APT campaign using only native security tooling, and restoring services during a live DDoS incident affecting approximately $2M in daily revenue. I've also served as a federal liaison to DHS, FBI, TSA and CISA on intelligence-sharing initiatives, and led vendor selection, compliance, and risk programs across global, multi-regional environments spanning the UK, Europe, Japan, and the Middle East.

My approach is straightforward, prioritize the risks that matter most to the business, build controls people will follow and equip leadership to make informed decisions about risk. I'm CISSP-certified and thrive in environments where security must be built not merely inherited.
