@blinkmelvis
I am an archivist specializing in records management, cataloguing, and preservation of collections.
What I'm looking for
I’m an archivist focused on records management and the careful preservation of archival materials. I’m experienced in assessing collections and turning them into organized, accessible resources through thorough physical processing and cataloguing.
I take pride in building strong documentary records pipelines—indexing, describing, and classifying documents while supporting information retrieval through accurate shelving and call number attribution. I also work with systems that improve access, including OPAC-related personalization, and I support user reception and orientation.
Beyond archives, I’ve completed academic internships in institutional collections and supported document processing in structured environments. I bring collaboration and training to the table, having supported workshops and hands-on guidance, as well as contributed to gender equality and cultural awareness through writing and community outreach.
