Bishung Christy
@bishungchristy
Sports law researcher and student legal practitioner at Roots Chambers of Justice, analyzing FIFA, CAF and CAS rulings while building toward football agency.
What I'm looking for
At Roots Chambers of Justice, I practise as a student legal practitioner under Chief Principal Partner Jesse Effiom. I also designed and built the chambers’ Supabase-backed website, deployed on Netlify.
My LLB research at the University of Calabar compares how courts in Nigeria and South Africa treat sports arbitral awards. I examine CAS and FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber awards, the NFF framework, and relevant arbitration and administrative justice laws.
Through 8NexusIng and Nexus Consultancy, I publish commentary on football governance and sports law. My work has covered the CAF Appeal Board’s AFCON 2025 ruling, the route to CAS, the Elye Wahi spot-fixing case, and FIFA’s Football Agent Regulations.
I co-founded BioBridge, a chat-first home services marketplace matching customers with vetted professionals through an AI concierge and Paystack escrow. I wrote its sponsorship and funding proposal and built its multi-page marketing site; the public launch was in Calabar on 21 August 2026.
