My name is Utukuru Bharath Kumar, and I’m a final-year Computer Science student and full-stack developer focused on building backend-heavy, production-ready systems. I’m not interested in surface-level projects or framework hopping—I care about how systems actually behave in real environments.

I’ve built and shipped multiple end-to-end applications, including a real-time collaborative code editor using WebSockets and a resume builder that integrates AI APIs, PDF parsing, and data persistence. These weren’t tutorial clones—I designed the APIs, handled state synchronization, and solved real coordination and data-handling problems.

Beyond personal projects, I’ve contributed meaningful features to open-source production codebases used by 700,000+ users. This includes implementing UI and shortcut-driven functionality across multiple core files with zero regressions, and building a complete admin role management system with protected routing and access control. Working in these environments forced me to read unfamiliar code, respect existing architecture, and ship changes that wouldn’t break real users—skills most freshers don’t actually have.

My technical interests are strongly backend-leaning: workflow logic, APIs, real-time systems, databases, and reliability. I’m especially interested in developer tooling, infrastructure-adjacent products, and platforms where correctness and scalability matter more than flashy UI.

Career-wise, I’m targeting engineering roles where I can work on real systems, contribute to mature codebases, and grow into a strong backend or platform engineer. I’m actively looking for teams that value ownership, clean engineering, and practical problem-solving over buzzwords and hype.
