At Deck Nine Games, I owned the UI codebase as Lead UI & Gameplay Programmer, extending it to give designers better access to assets and blueprints. I also refactored systems for Achievements, Scene Selection, and Collectibles, and rewrote Keybindings for Enhanced Inputs in UE5.
As a Senior Programmer at Deck Nine Games, I co-wrote Freewindows, a system that turns narrative scripts into Unreal Blueprints for artists to shape bespoke UI moments with little programming support. I also helped port UI systems from Unity to Unreal while preserving familiar functionality and flow.
I worked on four titles in the Life is Strange franchise, including prototyping and iterating on Backtalk in Life is Strange: Before the Storm. At Idol Minds, LLC, I used NGUI in Unity to implement UI and 2D worlds for mobile screens and expanded UI systems for multiple titles.
My shipped work spans PC, console, and mobile. I work with C++ and C#, Unreal Engine and Unity, and focus on UI architecture, gameplay systems, localization, and accessibility.
