I’m looking for a software development role where I can keep learning, work in an Agile/Scrum team, and build reliable C#/.NET-style solutions using SQL, APIs, and solid testing practices. I'm also actively learning React and TypeScript, and I embrace AI tools like Claude to accelerate my development and problem-solving.
Bethany Ashcroft
@bethanyashcroft
Software developer focused on progression, using C#, SQL, and continuous learning on React, Typescript, using AIs.
What I'm looking for
I was a Software Developer at Jisc/HESA, specialising in tracking graduate progression from university to career. I built and completed projects using C# and SQL, and I worked with Azure DevOps while delivering in an Agile, Scrum environment. I’m also hands-on with web technologies and testing, using APIs and xUnit to keep my work reliable.
My journey started with structured training through a Level 4 Software Developer Apprenticeship and earlier coding-focused bootcamps, where I built a strong foundation in software basics and the agile way of working. I enjoy continuous learning and growth, pair and solo programming, and contributing in multi-domain squads to complete tasks end-to-end.
