What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a SOC or security operations role where I can drive high-quality incident investigation, phishing analysis, and threat hunting, using modern SIEM/EDR/XDR tooling—while continuing to grow my skills through structured training and real client impact.

I’m a Cyber Security Analyst with 16 months of experience in a managed Security Operations Centre, specialising in incident investigation, phishing analysis, endpoint monitoring, and alert triage across diverse client environments. I work confidently across SIEM/EDR/XDR workflows, investigating suspicious activity with clear evidence and communicating findings to both clients and technical teams.

I use Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender XDR, Rapid7, and OSSEC to validate alerts, analyse Windows and Linux logs, and support threat analysis with IoC investigation. Alongside my BSc (Hons) in Cyber Security, I’ve built projects such as a Python/Linux phishing-analysis and detection platform that incorporates technical and behavioural indicators to improve detection quality.
