Benjamin Wilson
@benjaminwilson2
Controls engineer integrating mechatronics, automation, and CAD design to deliver warehouse automation solutions.
What I'm looking for
I’m an engineering professional involved with the integration of mechanical engineering, automation process and control, product design, and electronics across industries including manufacturing and electronics. Through my Bachelor of Engineering, I built practical engineering capability through projects like Humanitarian Engineering—installing water tanks—and designing a prosthetic hand with individually controlled fingers.
Since 2022, I’ve worked in the systems team as a Controls Engineer at Dexion, designing and implementing warehouse automation. I produce multiple detailed designs within short timeframes, develop custom parts for site needs, guide mechanical installers, and assist programmers to get systems running. I trouble-shoot conveyor software via EasyRoll and ConveyorLogix, commission and train clients on shuttle systems, and collaborate with clients to assess and propose additional changes—remaining within budget and solving site issues as they arise.
