What I'm looking for

I seek a K-12 counseling role where I can support students' academic and socio-emotional growth, collaborate with staff, and continue professional credentialing in an inclusive, student-centered environment.

I am a dedicated school counselor-in-training completing an M.A. in School Counseling with a 4.0 GPA and working toward my PPSC credential. I bring hands-on K–12 experience and an award-winning record as a substitute teacher.

Since 2022 I have fulfilled short- and long-term substitute teaching assignments across K–12 and completed school counseling internships at a high school and middle school, supporting academic planning, PBIS-aligned guidance, SEL lessons, safety plans and conflict resolution. I was named Substitute Teacher of the Year for my district in 2023.

I am bilingual (English and Spanish) and a native Assyrian speaker, culturally sensitive, and experienced in leadership roles as a camp director and restaurant manager. I am committed to collaborative, student-centered counseling that advances academic, career and social-emotional development.
