I built and shipped LiveBooks, an SMB accounting system with a Vue/Electron desktop app, Rails and PostgreSQL backend, and Dockerized services deployed to Railway.
I designed secure local-first ledgers and resilient bank-sync jobs that stay correct through unreliable connectivity and synchronized workflows. I owned architecture, deployment, debugging, and production issues end-to-end.
At Bill, I built Java services and REST and gRPC APIs for distributed AWS systems used by 3,000+ accounting firms. I reduced core API load times from 45 seconds to 5 seconds for 20,000+ daily users, and my endpoint pattern was adopted by five internal teams.
I've also led product simplification and performance work at Cardagraph and helped build Workplace21's React and Rails platform, including an ingestion pipeline handling 12,000+ daily events from seven sources.
