Basil Dzenga

I’m a motivated, detail-oriented Part 4 Software Engineering student with a solid foundation in software development, data communications, and algorithm design. I bring strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and I’m a quick learner who stays self-motivated and reliable.

Through an industrial attachment at Sales Intellect, I configured, deployed, and supported Sales Intellect and Nano POS systems. I integrated thermal printers (ESC/POS) and DIGI DS-782 price-computing scales, and I managed Android POS hardware deployment including resets/config and drive cloning for smooth rollouts.

I also supported stable on-site operations by maintaining LAN environments—configuring static IPs and gateway routing for reliable host, wireless, and printer communication. I executed ZIMRA fiscalization setups and device resets for numerous corporate retail clients, delivering technical support and training at high-traffic retail sites.

My coursework and projects strengthened my fundamentals in software architecture, requirements engineering, data communications and networking, data structures and algorithms, database systems, and computer architecture. I’m now seeking an industrial attachment to contribute to innovative software projects while growing my engineering impact end-to-end.
