Banyala A Abdul Ganiu
@banyalaaabdulganiu
I am an M&E specialist delivering data-driven insights for agricultural programs to improve food security and accountability.
What I'm looking for
I am a Monitoring & Evaluation specialist with 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting agricultural and humanitarian programs, focusing on data collection, field monitoring, and community-centered interventions. I use R, Python, Excel, Power BI, ODK, and KoboCollect to turn field data into actionable insights.
At USAID-SAGES I designed and implemented M&E frameworks, conducted data collection and visualization, and produced data-driven reports that informed stakeholders and improved program decision-making. I routinely translate complex analysis into clear presentations for diverse audiences.
As a Technical Officer and PhD Research Assistant at CSIR-SARI, I supported multi-location breeding trials, assessed stress adaptation in maize, and led farmer trainings on pest mitigation. I mentored interns and undergraduate students in experimental design, molecular techniques, and statistical analysis.
I am committed to supporting food security and livelihoods through rigorous monitoring, research, and capacity building, and I bring practical experience in survey design, machine learning model evaluation, and community training to every role. I seek opportunities where data-driven M&E improves program accountability and impact.
