On SwiftGoma, I built the API behind three mobile apps for buyers, sellers, and riders, along with a Next.js admin for deliveries in Goma, DRC. I implemented PawaPay mobile-money escrow and cash on delivery, with funds released at QR-code handoff.
I added real-time order updates and rider tracking over WebSockets, and moved slower work into BullMQ queues. The platform uses Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Mapbox.
For a desktop point-of-sale system, I made a local Express API run as a Windows service behind an Electron client. One Prisma schema supports PostgreSQL or MySQL, with JWT authentication and thermal receipt printing.
I also developed APIs for leave management and task tracking, including scheduled jobs and email notifications for the leave system. I completed an 11-month mobile development program with Rwanda Build Program and a six-month frontend web development internship at NFINIC.
