Babanyyaz Muhammetberdiyew

I’m a Senior Go backend engineer and technical founder with 5+ years of experience building consumer platforms, high-load services, distributed real-time systems, recommendation pipelines, and AI-enabled media workflows. I take ownership of architecture, translate product requirements into reliable backend systems, and stay hands-on from design through production troubleshooting.

At Adim (2025–Present), I architect Go microservices using gRPC and HTTP and lead distributed WebSocket management for real-time 1v1 competitions—covering matchmaking, reconnect handling, timed gameplay, scoring, recovery, and match finalization. I implement Redis Lua scripts for atomic state transitions and race-condition prevention, and persist durable competition history in PostgreSQL. I also build media-processing workflows with FFmpeg/HLS and partial MP4 delivery, powered by MinIO-compatible storage, plus a Whisper-based speech pipeline with word-level alignment and interactive subtitles.

Previously at Link Messenger (2023–2025), I developed high-load messenger/social backend services and helped migrate from monolith to independently deployable microservices. I worked with Cassandra, ClickHouse, Kafka, and Redis/Lua, and integrated content moderation (including nudity detection) and post recommendation using embeddings and Milvus. I’ve also built ML fundamentals in my own projects on GitHub, and my product leadership has included market analysis, customer segmentation, and go-to-market planning for a localized education platform serving Turkmenistan.
