I’m a Senior Test Analyst with extensive experience across financial services and retail, delivering functional, system, integration, regression, and exploratory testing. I build test strategies from business, functional, and technical requirements, then translate them into detailed test conditions, objectives, and cases.

In my current role, I analyze requirements for Capitec Connect products and define detailed test strategies, effort estimates, and sprint planning inputs. I create and execute manual test cases across mobile, web, backend integration, and USSD channels, validating end-to-end journeys such as SIM registration, purchase flows, RICA processes, wallet debits, and recharge flows. I also track and manage defects through JIRA/Azure DevOps and support timely root-cause resolution.

Previously, I’ve driven POS testing and structured acceptance testing for major organizations, including transaction processing, payment method integrations, price changes, receipt generation, and regression cycles. I also produced test plans and test reports/metrics, chaired entry/exit meetings, refreshed databases for test environments, and managed test data and configurations to keep execution efficient and evidence-based.

My professional ethos is collaboration and accountability: I work closely with developers, BAs, product owners, and stakeholders to manage risk, coach teams, and hand over complete test artifacts. Earlier experience also included managing quality assurance activity and performance within an SQA department.
