Since joining Royal Signal Corps in JAF in 2005, I’ve served in communication and workshop roles across base and field units.
As a Communication Platoon and Company Commander, I was responsible for the proper use and efficient operation of communications systems in the field. I designed and managed HF, VHF, UHF, and wide-band networks.
As a Workshop Commander, I was responsible for maintaining communications equipment and held courses on test equipment and repairing telecommunication sets. I also estimated and maintained supplies of equipment and accessories.
I served as TETRA departments chief for four years, operating, maintaining, and programming terminals, repeaters, and control systems. My technical training includes tactical radio systems, CCNA courses, and exchange systems.
