At Ethiopian Statistics Service, I’m exploring publicly available data sources and dashboard approaches for presenting statistical information. I’m developing practical skills in Python-based data processing, visualization, and analytical workflows.

I built the Ethiopia Coffee Market Analytics Dashboard, cleaning and analyzing more than 90,000 raw coffee trading records. It presents price trends, trading volumes, warehouse performance, and seasonality through interactive filters and KPI summaries, with short-term time-series forecasting.

For my Heart Disease Prediction Application, I trained and compared Logistic Regression, KNN, and Random Forest models on clinical-feature data. Random Forest reached approximately 88.5% accuracy on the project dataset, and I deployed an interactive prediction interface.

My in-progress senior project investigates image preprocessing, text-line segmentation, OCR, and information extraction for handwritten Amharic and English documents. I’m a fourth-year Data Science student at Bahir Dar University, with interests in applied machine learning, AI model evaluation, NLP, and document intelligence.
