What I'm looking for

I’m seeking a 2026 software engineering internship where I can apply HTML/CSS/JavaScript and Java, learn modern engineering practices, and contribute as part of a supportive team that values accuracy, communication, and fast, high-quality execution.

I’m a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering student at Iowa State University (GPA: 4.00, expected May 2029), and I’m focused on securing a software engineering internship for summer 2026. I’ve been developing core web and programming skills through HTML, CSS, Java, and JavaScript, and I use tools like Visual Studio Code and IntelliJ IDEA on Mac OS.

In fast-paced roles at Hy-Vee and McDonald’s, I built strong habits around accuracy, safety, and clear communication under pressure. Whether managing high-volume transactions, resolving customer requests, or operating kitchen equipment while following safety regulations, I’ve learned to collaborate effectively by asking clarifying questions and staying dependable when the environment gets stressful. I also competed in Swan Hacks 2025 Hackathon (November 2025), strengthening my ability to work toward practical solutions in a team setting.
