What I'm looking for

I am seeking an entry-level software or backend development role at an innovative company where I can apply Java/Python skills, learn secure development practices, collaborate with teams, and grow technically.

I am a motivated and detail-oriented computer science student pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Science at Farmingdale State College, with an expected graduation in 2027 and a 3.48 GPA. I have developed proficiency in Java and Python through academic projects and have hands-on experience building backend web services using Flask (REST API design, routing, CORS handling).

I have practical exposure to version control with Git/GitHub, SQL databases, HTML/CSS, and tooling commonly used in software development. I completed a 10-week cybersecurity course with CodePath, earning a certificate and strengthening my understanding of secure development practices from both developer and user perspectives.

I bring teamwork and communication skills honed through collaborative projects and customer-facing work experience, plus a strong work ethic demonstrated in roles such as a restaurant crew member and volunteer technical support. I am eager to contribute to an innovative organization in an entry-level software or backend engineering role while continuing to grow my technical abilities.
