What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an entry-level backend role where I can build REST APIs and backend services with Python frameworks like Django/FastAPI, contribute to real products, and keep developing my NLP/ML skills through applied work.

I’m a Computer Science undergraduate with strong foundations in software development and competitive programming. I focus on building backend services and clear, maintainable APIs using modern Python frameworks.

As a Backend Engineering Intern at Emblem Technologies, I designed backend systems for web platforms using Django, built REST APIs with Django Rest Framework, and developed backend services with FastAPI. I enjoy working through real-world backend problems and turning requirements into functional services.

For my final year research, I worked on a deep learning-based machine translation approach for code-mixed Roman Urdu-English to Urdu. I implemented and fine-tuned multilingual transformer models (M2M-100, NLLB-200, and Phi-3.5) and built a complete pipeline in Python for preprocessing, training, evaluation, and benchmarking.
