I’m a detail-oriented fresher with a background in Electronics Engineering and I’m currently pursuing an MBA in Operations Management. I’m seeking an entry-level role where I can apply my foundational knowledge of risk assessment, control gap identification, and business process analysis to IT General Controls (ITGC), IT audit, or risk & compliance.

Through virtual experience with PwC Cybersecurity Consulting, I gained exposure to assessing risks and identifying control gaps within business processes. I reviewed security controls and basic risk mitigation approaches, strengthening how I think about controls in real operational contexts.

In PwC Digital Assurance, I developed an understanding of ITGC control testing and audit procedures. I also practiced audit documentation while identifying business process gaps; in addition, my Tata Cybersecurity IAM experience helped me work with identity and access management concepts, including reviewing user access controls and segregation of duties risks.

For a self project, I completed an ITGC risk assessment for Procurement to Pay (P2P), analyzing process risks like missing approvals and segregation of duties gaps. I designed and documented ITGC controls such as access controls, approval workflows, and audit logging, and I support my analysis with tools like SQL, Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data cleaning), and Power BI dashboards.
