I am an AI Backend Engineer with 4 years of experience in Python, AWS serverless, and LLM systems. I currently lead backend development at Everest AI Hub LLC, building text-to-SQL pipelines, document chat interfaces, and API architecture. I reduced deployment time from 30 minutes to 5 minutes and cut LLM inference latency from 8 seconds to 3–4 seconds.
Prior to that, I spent 3 years as an Automation Developer at ScrappyCito, a search engine company. I built test automation for a 100,000-line shell script codebase, achieving an 85% test success rate and 80% performance gains. I also contributed merged pull requests to open-source projects, including tomasohara/shell-scripts and tomasohara/mezcla.
I built ShallNotCrash, an emergency landing guidance system for the FlightGear simulator, using a double-triage ML model and Telnet communication. It plans descent trajectories to within 50 meters of designated landing zones. I am seeking senior roles where I can own backend AI infrastructure and continue contributing to open source.
