Ava Bloom

I’m a BSN graduate (3.5 GPA) and Registered Nurse with hands-on inpatient experience from my Nursing Assistant (Float) role at the University of Toledo Medical Center. I focus on patient-centered care, staying calm under pressure, and adapting quickly to different unit needs.

In my float position, I perform inpatient support including monitoring and documenting vital signs, intake/output, and patient status using EHR systems. I promptly report changes to licensed nursing staff and help maintain continuity of care across shifts through clear, timely communication.

I’m skilled in care coordination—assisting RNs with delegated tasks and supporting interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote safe, efficient care. I also communicate therapeutically with patients and families, delivering patient education and comfort while coordinating next steps.

Beyond clinical work, I’ve built a strong service mindset as a Lifeguard & Attendant, administering first aid and CPR when needed. I bring strong time management, adaptability, and comfort using technology to support effective, compassionate care in remote or clinical environments.
