Staff engineer building AI platform infrastructure for distributed, Kubernetes-based production systems at scale.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Staff Engineer in Platform Engineering and AI Infrastructure, focused on the internal platforms that help AI teams develop and ship at scale. I specialize in distributed systems and the backend infrastructure that production AI runs on, with a strong pull toward work that serves both engineers and end users.
At Pryon, I led platform engineering for a system ingesting multiple terabytes of data supporting enterprise RAG workloads. I designed and evangelized agent-centered tooling, including an MCP server and CLI utilities, partnered with ML researchers to bring metadata discovery into production, and drove GPU cost optimization by refactoring services to interact with models via APIs.
Previously at F5 Networks, I built an observability platform from scratch and led requirements, roadmap, and architectural work for observability, scalability, and supportability across next-generation products. I also led teams developing Kubernetes-based 5G infrastructure control planes and mentored engineers to grow Kubernetes and software development competency.
