aun maohmmed
@aunmaohmmed
Cybersecurity SOC analyst and penetration testing practitioner focused on threat triage and vulnerability management.
What I'm looking for
I’m a results-driven cybersecurity student and practitioner with “2+ years of hands-on SOC, penetration testing, and GRC experience” across Google, IBM, Aspire Technology Partners, Tevora, and Sungrow. I’m strongest where I can triage high volumes, keep SIEM operations healthy, and turn technical evidence into clear decisions.
In SOC roles, I’ve monitored and triaged “100+ security events daily,” maintained SIEM health, and produced executive threat briefings with “zero factual corrections received.” I also support threat and vulnerability work through “MITRE ATT&CK,” “CVSS v3.1,” and automation with “Python,” plus hands-on validation using “Burp Suite,” “Nmap,” and “Metasploit.” I’m currently pursuing a full-time path in SOC analysis, threat & vulnerability management, or penetration testing.
Experience
Work history, roles, and key accomplishments
Designed and delivered security test cases across multiple Google product teams and produced bi-weekly executive threat briefings synthesizing CVE disclosures and adversary TTPs. Identified a CVE tracking gap and proposed an intake template adopted by cohort members.
Monitored and triaged 100+ client network events daily and maintained IBM QRadar SIEM health while authoring MITRE ATT&CK-mapped threat intel briefings. Conducted vulnerability assessments and configuration reviews and wrote post-incident reports correlating firewall, endpoint, and IDS telemetry.
