Recent Sociology graduate passionate about law and community engagement.
What I'm looking for
I am a recent Sociology graduate with a strong interest in law, advocacy, and community engagement. My academic journey has equipped me with critical thinking skills and a deep understanding of social dynamics, which I aim to leverage in a legal career. I am committed to making a meaningful impact and advocating for others, particularly those from underrepresented communities.
Throughout my time at Washington College, I gained valuable experience in various roles, including serving as a Campus Tour Guide and a Camp Counselor. These positions honed my communication skills and allowed me to engage with diverse populations effectively. Additionally, my internship at Congressional Cemetery provided me with hands-on experience in administrative functions and event planning, further solidifying my organizational and leadership abilities.
As the President of the Black Student Union, I directed initiatives that promoted cultural engagement and advocacy on campus. My leadership experience, combined with my academic achievements, including membership in the Alpha Kappa Delta Sociological Honors Society, reflects my dedication to both personal and community growth.
