What I'm looking for

I want to contribute my field coordination and public health experience to strengthen community health interventions, using my skills in community-based research, stakeholder coordination, and monitoring & evaluation to deliver high-quality, protocol-aligned field results.

I am a highly motivated public health professional with a multidisciplinary background—my Bachelor’s in Biotechnology and MPH strengthen my ability to connect scientific rigor with real-world community needs. With over three years of hands-on experience across community-based health research, clinical and public health research, and field programme implementation, I focus on practical execution that produces usable evidence.

In my Assistant Research Officer role at NIMHANS, I coordinate community-based stroke surveillance to identify risk factors, study first-ever stroke cases, and develop a cascade model. I supervise and mentor 8 field coordinators and 60+ data collectors, coordinate field implementation across 40+ villages and 2 wards of Bengaluru, and ensure high-quality household enumeration, village mapping, data collection, and protocol compliance through continuous quality assurance.

I also bring experience from my Field Coordinator position at NIMHANS, where I supported Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) documentation, contributed to project reporting, developed indicators for monitoring and evaluation, designed research questionnaires, and ensured cultural appropriateness through translation into the local language. I’m skilled in stakeholder coordination and community mobilization—working with ASHAs, ANMs, Anganwadi workers, Panchayat officials, village leaders, and government health systems—while contributing to literature reviews, technical report writing, and evidence generation to support decision-making.
